Molecular Spectroscopy -Novel spectroscopies shed new lights on the molecular world-

Molecular spectroscopy is the most important tool of physical chemistry. Developping a new spectroscopic technique always leads to the opening of a new branch of physical chemistry. In the past ten years, the ultrafast time-resolved vibrational spectroscopies developped by us have advanced greatly the understanding of the structure and dynamics of short-lived reaction intermediates and have established a new field of photophysical chemistry. We have always been and will try to be at the world forefront of this rapidly-developping field.
